To commemorate Word Radio Day, we had a conversation with Des Latham, our fraycollege AI facilitator and veteran radio journalist. We spoke to him about World Radio Day’s theme, “AI is a tool, not a voice”, and what it means for African radio today. This theme speaks to the growing use of Artificial intelligence in radio broadcasting and how it should remain rooted in human relationships and community trust.
